Community Partners in Action: Discover Other Agencies Supporting Treasure Coast Families

211
211 is a community helpline and crisis hotline that provides suicide prevention, crisis intervention, information, assessment, and referral to community services for people of all ages.
The Food Assistance Program helps individuals and families purchase nutritional foods needed to maintain and promote good health. The Temporary Cash Assistance program provides financial assistance to pregnant women in their third trimester and families with dependent children to assist in the payment of rent, utilities and other household expenses. The Medicaid Program provides medical assistance to individuals and families to cover or assist in the cost of services that are medically necessary.
WIC
WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children. WIC provides the following at no cost: healthy foods, nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support, and referrals for health care and community services.
Treasure Coast Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization on Florida’s Treasure Coast
The purpose of Sarah’s Kitchen is to welcome and provide hot nutritious meals to those in our community who are hungry and struggling financially.
GraceWay Village’s vision is to ease the lives of families in crisis while building a foundation for a healthy, independent, and sustainable life. Their mission is to feed those who are hungry and provide clothing to children and teens of low-income families.
